Tom and Seth, two actors from Boston, are introduced along with a quirky bunch who are documented on their pursuit of stardom. The series documents the lives and experiences of these aspiring actors in New England, and shows the hilariousness, challenges, and fun part of the New England film industry. In the first episode, Seth follows Tom to an audition, where they run into familiar faces and one very inappropriate casting director.

After submitting their press kits in the mail, Tom and Seth get a meeting with Rebecca Smith - one of the most well known agents in town. During the meeting, they meet another actress, Nancy (played by Anna Rizzo), who catches Seth’s eye.

Tom and Seth head out to an “actors bar” where they run into old friends and new trouble.

Nancy catches up with the group, while Tom and Seth deal with some unwanted company of another haughty actor.

Tom and Seth throw a party for Kat – who gets a lead role in an upcoming film - only for it to be interrupted by news from her sister (Shannon) that shakes things up for the group.

Reality becomes unclear when a stranger claiming to be Shannon shows up at Tom and Seth's apartment.

Like many projects in Boston, Tom and Seth meet Kat on set of a student film where things don't go as they planned. The ridiculous set brings not only familiar faces, but a crazy and intensely serious film student.

Seth starts making irrational decisions after their experience on (another) awful film set, while Tom tries to stop him from being too sporadic. The gang gets together and tries to convince Seth that he should stay in Boston and Tom decides to finally ask out Kat.
